We hope everyone had a Very Merry christmas!
We had Christmas at home a day early. Drove to Ohio on Christmas Eve and spent a few days there with Mike's dad's family.
The kids had a blast with their Aunt Hailey!
we went to Church on Sunday. Olivia and the boys had a great time with the other kids.
we are home now. Happy New year! :)

Channing had his preschool Christmas program last Friday! He did such a great job singing. I tried to upload one of the videos from it but for some reason, it's not working right. I will try again another time.
When the class was done singing we were invited to a cookie/juice social. It's so neat to watch Channing interact with all of his friends! He's complete opposite at school than what he is at home.

The kids and I had a great night of baking cookies!! Funny, I could not, for the life of me, get the dough to roll out. Olivia grabs the rolling pin from me and says, "Here mom, let me show you. This is how Grandma showed me." And by golly she rolled out the dough! :) Such a smart lil girl. When the cookies were done baking. I gave each kiddo their own tray and we spread out frosting, marshmellows, chocolates, etc in the middle of the table and I let them decorate as their little hearts desired! :)

See what a sister will do to a brother! lol! I used to dress my brother up when we were little, too!
Yesterday, Mom and Dad went up to Olivia's school to help her make a Gingerbread house! It turned out really cute.
Today, we had Breakfast with Santa. Olivia said this was not the real Santa. She is getting to the age where she is figuring everything out. We told her the "mall" santa was the real Santa and she said, "I know!" lol.
This year for Christmas Olivia asked Santa for: Barbies, Pillow pet, make up. Channing asked for a Tool set, Pillow pet, Star wars toys and shoes. Gavin asked for Pillow pet, star wars toys, books, baby. Gavin looked at Santa and said, "ok, I have my pillow pet now." santa replied, "you have to wait until I come to your house." Gavin says, "I have it now." lol. It was really funny. trying to bargain with Santa. ;)

A friend of mine is getting into Photography and asked if she could use me and the kids as her subjects! Of course, I said yes! She said she wasn't happy with the way the lighting turned out but I still cherish any memory I get with the kids and I think they turned out great! :)
we have been staying plenty busy getting ready for Christmas. Lots of shopping, decorating and baking! Work is going great and it's so nice having my own money to buy things with! If you all keep up with me on Facebook, you will know I pretty much update with stories and pictures on that site to all of my family and friends. I know there is a select few that have facebook so I will still update on here, too.

I have had our Christmas decorations up for a month now, except for the tree. Tonight, I grabbed some pizzas from Little Ceasars! The kids and I had a pizza/tree decorating party along with a movie! The kids LOVED helping to put the decorations on the tree! I cherish every moment and every smile with these kids! :)
To top the night off, it is snowing! We are so excited for the snow. I'm taking the kids shopping for snow boots next week!

Hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving! Ours was very nice. Mike did all of the cooking, which thankfull, he loves to do. He wouldn't accept any help from us! lol. My parents, my brother and his friend Richard along with Mike's Dad, Shirley and Hailey! It was a full house!
Christmas is right around the corner! I'm in the Christmas spirit this year!!! :) The kids are doing well. Channing has been running a fever since last night. I took him to the DR today bc he has been complaining of his ear hurting but the DR said he checked out fine and it's just a cold. Poor little man. He hardly ever gets sick but when it does hit him, he's down and out. Gavin is so full of energy and Mike's parents got a taste of that this weekend! They watched the kids for a few hours while I had no choice but to go into work. I was very appreciative of their help!
this year, Mike and I avoided the long lines and crazy hassle of Black Friday shopping. We did all of our shopping online. I can't wait for Olivia to get her new clothes. I ordered so much stuff from Old navy online. That could become addicting. I have to make sure I stay away from online shopping! ;)

The Kids' school puts on its annual Community Veterans day parade. They get all of the kids in school involved! Channing got to ride on the float this year and he wanted his Papa to ride with him! Olivia walked in the parade with her class. She was such a ham waving to everyone. She told me she felt like a princess! After the parade, my parents and the kids came back to the house and we had cake and ice cream to help celebrate my birthday! The kids made me a special cake.

The other day, the kids and I worked on a crafty Christmas tree! They had so much fun! We cranked up the Christmas tunes, ate pizza and had great quality time together! I'm such in the Christmas spirit this year! Almost all of our Christmas decor is out! :)

Today is a very sad day. Grandma Sharon went to be with the Lord this morning. We will forever miss her.
