Channing was screened for preschool and is now on the list. However, the funding might not be there for next year. we will find out in June or July.
He is very excited!
Gavin has been practicing on the potty! He has been doing great. It won't be long and he will be out of diapers.
Hard to believe Kindergarten is almost over for Olivia and she will be going into first grade! She has been doing well in school. She has been reading 1st step books to us! She is reading, writing a lot better, counting, telling time, etc. I am so proud of her!

UpDatE

No pictures with update this time.

We have been keeping pretty busy. I can't wait for Vacation! This past Friday early morning around 3 AM I had to take Olivia to the Emergency Room. Lately, she has been getting boils on her skin. A few times on the back of her head and the last time being on her wrist. On Wed. after school it was nice outside for the kids to play for awhile and Olivia was walking and acting kind of funny. I wasn't sure what was going on so we went inside and I told her I was going to check her out and make sure she was ok. That is where I seen part of her bottom was really red and irrated. She had a boil on the inside of her bottom cheek. I could tell she was in a lot of pain. I cleaned the area and put a band aid over it with some neosporin. The next morning she woke up and complained about being really tired. This is a very normal thing for her to complain so I didn't think anything of it and sent her to school. When she got home from school she was very grayish and ill looking. I kissed her forhead and she was burning up. Took her temp. and it was 103. I gave her some motrin and she took a nap. When she woke up she said she felt better. I checked her temp. again before she went to bed She was burning up . 103.6 I called the nurse oncall and she told me to hurry and get her into the ER bc any type of fever associated with a boil is NOT a good thing. She could be prone to a blood infection or other infections. I called Mike who had just gone into work for him to come home and watch after the sleeping boys so I didn't have to drag them all out. He couldn't so luckily my mom was able to come over. Around 3 am is when I was able to get Olivia into the ER. The Dr informed us that if the boil didn't go away on its own they would have to make an incision to drain it. Luckily, after they were touching it, it was draining a little So they just put her on antibiotics and sent us on our way. Poor girl. They said these boils were caused by bacteria under the skin from broken hair folicles. Her 6 yr check up is at the end of this month and they will then do a full evaluation on her. I was told that boils are also a sign of Diabetes. Hopefully, that is NOT the case at all.

Gavin had a E.N.T appt. the other day and he is going to get tubes put in on the
23rd of March. He still has fluid behind the ears and will be prone to getting infections if it's not taken care of. Channing did just fine with his so we are hoping this will help Gavin. Channing's tubes are still in and have not fallen out yet so he will be going for a check up also.
