Olivia has reached her goal in selling Girl Scout cookies! She set her personal goal to 300 boxes and she has exceeded her limit! We are so proud of her! :)
She is still complaining a lot about her teacher and how much she hates school and doesn't like her teacher. Mike is coming with me to Parent/Teacher conferences next week. He was pretty pissed when Olivia told him that she was sorry she didn't have his birthday surprise she had made for him at school. The teacher walked by, picked it up, crumpled it up and threw it away. What teacher acts like that to a 6 year old? We are really upset. I just hope Mike remembers his soft skills when talking to the teacher. ;)
Olivia starts Cheerleader for a week next week. She is also very excited about that. She will be cheering the basketball team next Friday.
Channing is star student this week! I took Thursday off from work so that I can take him to school and bring treats for his class. He's so excited.
Channing and Gavin have been playing really well together, lately. They have been building with wooden blocks and playing with their remote control cars. It's so funny listening to them talk to each other!
This past weekend was MIke's 36th birthday! To celebrate, my mom came over to watch the kids and we went to dinner with friends and bowling! It was a lot of fun! Mike and I are doing really well and I couldn't be happier! :)

Just a quick little update. Olivia needs 127 more boxes to sell to reach her Daisy Girl Scout Cookie goal! She is so excited!
She has been acting "more grown up" since she lost her first tooth. It's so hard watching my baby girl grow up! It's bittersweet! She is 7 going on 16, I swear.
I'm still working for the radio station. It's a good time. I'm just hoping that someday soon I can work my way up on radio and be on the air! :)
The boys like to take their dump trucks loaded with toys and push them back and forth from the living room to their bedroom. They also like to use their dump trucks as means of cleaning. It works out to my advantage!
Olivia has been invited to her first Ice skating party and she's super excited while I, on the other hand, am super nervous! lol! My first time ever going Ice skating, I was in 5th grade. one of the girls I was skating with, fell, and her skate sliced my leg. Another time I went skating, I seen a little girl get her fingers run over. She had to get stitches. :( I'm sure Olivia will do fine, but I'm still a mom and I worry! :)
Liv is doing MUCH better in school! Her spelling tests have all been 100% since we are back on track!
we'll find out how they are doing in more depth after conferences coming up. Hopefully, I will get good reports!

Olivia is growing up, she lost her first tooth! It became very loose and wiggly last week. Last night when she was talking to me, it was just hanging there and pointing at me. I told her that if she didn't pull it out, we were going to the dentist and he could yank it out! She let me help her work it out and then she was able to pull it out! She was very scared at first but then became very excited when she was holding it in her hand!! :) Olivia put her tooth under her pillow and the Tooth fairy brought her $5 for her first tooth!!

I surprised the kids today with a trip to the Children's Museum in Normal, Illinois! They were so excited when we got there! The last time we had gone, Gavin was about a year old. He had such a blast learning and playing today! Olivia loved painting on the window the best. Channing loved the puppet and music area. Gavin loved the play area for toddlers! We spent the entire day there. :)

The kids have a new pet! One of my friends who owns a Boutique had a fish tank with fish. One day, Gavin and I were in shopping and Gavin would not leave the fish tank. He was calling the fish, "AUDI AUDI!" it was quite entertaining. Drew informed me that we could have it because he was renovating his store. The kids love having the fish. The fish follows Olivia's finger. It's funny.
We are having some issues with Olivia in school. It seems she is having trouble staying focused on her work. When it comes to the state testing, she tests well above average. Her grades are terrible right now. I went in and had a talk with the principal and she basicly wants me to look into having Olivia medicated with ADD meds. This has me even more concerned because I don't believe in medicating my child. She is 6 years old. I wrote a blog about it on facebook so I'm not going to get into it over here. I am setting aside time for her at home where we are going to be working on assignments even if she doesn't have homework. I want her to succeed and I want her to know that when she gets bad grades, she doesn't get to have fun. She missed out on her Daisy troop swim rally this past weekend. She was very upset but she knows I'm not messing around.
The boys are doing well. Gavin needs some kind of social interaction with other kids. He's a pistol and wears us out. I'm having him tested for preschool for Fall. Hopefully, he will be potty trained by then. He has NO interest in going on the potty. I'm not saying he doesn't get it. He just doesn't want to do it. I'm not forcing him to do it. When he's ready, he will get it just fine. I keep telling him that when he goes on the big toilet, he can go to school. He had such a fun time at Channing's christmas party in the classroom that he now asks, "I go to school, too"? I have also taken him to the store to pick out his own underwear. He was excited about that but after he's had them on, he'll go in the toilet but then still go in the underwear.
work is going well for me. Sunday brunches are where I make the most money. I was hoping to only work a few of the Sundays so that I could start going back to church but knowing that's the only day of the week where I make excellent money, it's hard. Especially when we need the money.
I've started my work out sessions. I have the Reebok easy tone gear and I'm loving it. So far, I'm down 5lbs. I am hoping to lose a total of 30 lbs by summer! Wish me luck. Have a blessed day.
