The kids had Parent/Teacher conferences last week and I'm proud to say that Olivia is back to As and Bs!! Her State Testing still has her at the Above Average range and her teacher is very proud of her. Olivia had been having problems with her Teacher and then we found out that Olivia is ultra sensitve. If the Teacher has to change her tone, Olivia automaticly thinks she doesn't like her anymore.
Olivia is still loving Dance class and Daisy's! She exceeded her personal cookie selling goal of 300! We are so proud of her!
Channing's Conferences went well, too! He loves School, his Teachers and his friends! He's developing right where he's supposed to be. We still need to work on his letter recognition but all in all he did well! We are so proud of him, too!

Gavin has been working on getting out of diapers. He stayed dry one day and then the next wanted diapers again. I've been trying to stay as consistant as possible with him so that he stays interested. He loves wearing big boy underwear and he knows that when he's potty trained he will get to go to school. He is so excited to go to school like his brother and sister. The sad thing is that he gets so excited to see Channing and Olivia when they get home from school since he's missed them all day, but all Liv and Channing want to do is their own thing.

This past weekend the kids and I went and stayed overnight at Grandma's house in Iowa! It would have been a nice time had the kids left the cat alone. They would not leave that poor cat alone and when they weren't chasing the cat around, they were fighting with each other. They have been waking up very early around 6 am these last few days I can only assume they are exhausted.
Tonight, Mike and I took the kids to see a movie. Mike and the boys went to see Gnomeo and Juliet. They said it was really cute and Mike said it was a buyable movie! I took Olivia to see her very first 3D movie! JUSTIN BIEBER! We really enjoyed it and enjoyed our time together. It's nice to get one on one time in with the kids but it's really hard to get those chances sometimes. Life happens way too fast.

Olivia Was a part of the Little Cheerleaders this past week! They got to perform during the basketball game tonight! She had so much fun and says she can't wait until she's older when she can be an actual Cheerleader.

Olivia went Ice Skating for a Birthday party this past weekend and had a BLAST! All she keeps bugging me about now is going ice skating. I'm thinking about signing her up for classes and when I told her about it, she starting doing "figure skating" moves around the living room. It was so funny! She said she also wants to do Karate class. We'll have to see about that. Money adds up sure quick and I know I would like to get the boys involved in something as well.
The kids are getting ready for Valentine's day! We spent the evening making heart animals and putting together V Day boxes for school! It was a lot of fun!
channing is star of the week this week since last week they missed 3 days of school due to snow! I'm going into class tomorrow to bring his class his favorite snack.

The kids are on their 3rd snow day home! Olivia has her best friend over to play. The kids have been going stir crazy. I'm going a little stir crazy myself! Mike was home with us the first snow day and then by the second day had to shovel his way out to get back into work. It took him nearly 2 hours to shovel our long driveway and then he had to use his car, driving up and down the street to create a path. You couldn't even see our street! The kids had a blast playing in the snow. Gavin gets frustrated having to wear gloves so the minute those gloves were off, we went back inside. We spent a good half hour out in the snow!
During our Blizzard there was also a lot of Thunder and lightning! It was bizarre! Luckily, we did not lose our power and we were smart enough to stock up on supplies, food, water and firewood!

BLIZZARD 20100

We are getting a massive Snowstorm right now. As the News Media likes to call it, "thundersnow" Heavy snowfall and accumalation in a very short amount of time. Along with this we are getting Thunder and Lighting. Thought I would share a few pictures! We are very fortunate that Mike went out very early this morning to stock us up on food, water, and firewood as we prepared for this storm!
