Monkey Joes!

There is a new Kids' place in town called, Monkey Joe's! I took the kids there the other day for a playdate and they had a Blast! It is a big building full of bounce house Inflatables! It really wore them out!
Channing had his first little sleepover at our house with his best bud, Austen! They did great! In fact, they fell right to sleep as soon as their head hit the pillow due to all of the running around they got out of their system from Mj's!

Gavin is officially out of Diapers! The same night that Austen stayed over, Gavin decided he wanted to be a big boy, too! He used the potty right after Austen and Channing had gone. He has been dry both nights in his undies without any accidents! It's bittersweet not having diapers but at the same time, it's sad that our last baby is growing up!
As a reward for wearing big boy undwear, Mike gave the kids an option of going to see a movie or heading back to Monkey Joe's. They chose Monkey Joes!

Olivia has her 7 yr check up and Gavin has his 3 yr check coming up in a few weeks. They all have Dentist appointments coming up on Monday! This will be Gavin's first Dentist visit. He is very excited!

The Kids really enjoyed the Hockey game! Along with the Hockey game, they also recieved a free Jersey! Olivia was given free tickets for the game through her Daisy troop so Mike and I, along with my mom and the kids went to enjoy the game! The kids said they really liked it. They did a get a bit restless after a while but that's any kid! Mike got bored really quick.

Today is the official start of Spring Break for Olivia and Channing! Tomorrow, Olivia and I are going to a mission for Daisies to feed women/children who are less fortunate than us. I am hoping that Olivia really learns from this experience and realizes how blessed we are that we are able to live the way we do.
Monday, Channing is having his first sleepover at our house!! His buddy Austen will be staying over! Channing is very excited. Olivia is hoping that one of her friends can stay over sometime this week, too! It feels like it has been non stop busy over this way. Summer is fast approaching and Olivia is wanting to play softball. Channing has the opportunity to play Tball this year but he can't seem to make up his mind about playing. I told him he could always wait until next year if he wants. He told me he wants to take swimming lessons this summer, so we will be getting them back in that. It just gets really hard when you have to make a schedule. I'm also thinking about cutting my hours at work so that I can have more time with the kids over the Summer!
I wanted to get the kids into Karate but right now, that's not exactly in our budget. I didn't realize how expensive Karate is per child! Whew!
The kids all have Dentist, eye Dr and yearly exams coming up. We will keep you all posted.

Today was a very exciting day! The kids and I spent the day in Iowa with my Grandma and a few other family members! I took Grandma out to eat for her birthday. I let the Servers know that it was her birthday and at the end of our meal, they surprised her with a sombrero and dessert. They sang happy birthday in Spanish and then proceeded to feed Grandma some whipped cream from the Dessert followed by some whipped cream on the face. OH It was HILARIOUS! Grandma passed the sombrero onto Olivia in celebration of Olivia's birthday *belated* It was a fun time!
We went back to Grandma's house for some cake and ice cream. The kids and I made Grandma a spice cake!

Channing had a fieldtrip on this day. Mike took the day from work to go with him! They had a great time.
While Olivia was in school, my "second family" took Gavin for the day! He had a great time playing with Brayden and Austen. While he was at Austen's house, I was downtown Peoria walking the St. Patrick's day Parade with the radio station. It was a lot of fun!
The kids are still getting over ear infections and colds.
We have been enjoying the weather! The windows have been open and a nice breeze has been going through the house!!
Tomorrow, we plan on making a trip to Iowa for my Grandma's birthday! The kids and I are taking her out for lunch.

The pictures show Olivia by the Girl Scout Cookies she has sold! Channing climbing on his bunk bed, Olivia playing Barbies in her room and Gavin digging for toys! lol.
spring break starts at the end of next week. Countdown to Summer begins! :)

Sickness has struck our house. Olivia came down with a fever Sunday evening and I took her to the Dr today. On the way to the Dr, Mike called me to inform that Gavin had pus and drainage coming out of his ear. I had to turn around so that I could take him to the Dr as well. Turns out he has a horrible middle ear infection. Not once, did he complain. Mike went to the Dr today because he has been sick with fever for the past few days, as well. He hasn't really moved too much off the couch or bed. I'm feeling ok, my stomach is a bit upset but I'm pretty sure that's from stress. Channing came off the bus today and said that a little boy puked all over the kid that Channing was sitting next to, luckily it missed Channing. BUT STILL.... ugh. Hopefully, everyone starts feeling better around here.

Olivia had a great birthday party! Our surprise guest was Barbie! All of the girls had a blast!

Happy 7th Birthday to my beautiful little girl, Olivia! 7 years sure does fly by super fast.
Tonight, she opened some presents and I baked her a special cake! Saturday we are having a big birthday party for her! She is very excited!
