Easter egg hunt!

Our Church had a Easter Egg hunt today! The kids had a lot of fun collecting eggs and receiving MORE candy then they did on Halloween. (I'm thinking the Easter bunny can forget about bringing them anymore candy! ;0) )
Gavin was having a blast crawling around on the floor finding his own little eggs. However, someone must have mistakenly put jelly beans in the little kid area b/c he got a hold of one and I had to scoop it out with my finger. Gave me quite the scare! channing had on dress pants that were NOT staying up. I didn't realize this until we were already at church and it was a little late. I think I had them rolled over 3 times and it still wasn't helping and was also creating Capri's on him. lol. poor guy. He needs to grow a rear end!
After the Easter Egg hunt, we celebrated Palm Sunday. The kids got to wave palms around and parade around the church! When church was over, we went home to pick up their dad and then we all headed to see the Easter bunny. The bunny that the kids have been used to seeing is the one that is at our local mall. The mall bunny is a lot nicer then the one we got to see today, he has glasses and looks legit. The bunny we seen today, whenever the guy would wave, the sleeve would come back revealing his hairy arm. Olivia noticed this right away and was asking a lot of questions. I just told her that like Santa, The Easter bunny needs bunny helpers! I'm very certain it won't be long until she figures everything out.
Gavin did well on the bunny's lap. He was hesitant at first but warmed up right away. If you noticed in the pictures, Gavin got his first "professional" haircut. AH-HEM. Mike took all 3 kids in to get a haircut (Olivia changed her mind) The lady pretty much did what I could have done but charged $10 for it. I told Mike I couldn't' believe he actually paid it. I'm heading back into the shop tomorrow so they can FIX his hair or refund our money. Poor Gavin! lol!! I'm very proud of mike for going out and about with all 3 kids while I was at work!!! He spent the entire day with them and even took them into Build-A-Bear to create their own little bear! So fun! I wish I could have been there but it was good for him to be out with all 3 of our kiddos without my help!
Hard to believe, but Gavin will be one Thursday!
We have decided we are just having his birthday celebration on Easter. We aren't expecting a lot of family, but we do plan on having another little get together with friends!
