It has been a busy start to the month! Last weekend I took the kids downtown on the Riverfront for Ribfest and live music! They had a blast dancing around and letting loose! The following day we went to Tanner's Orchard and had a blast running around and playing on all of the fun activities. Gavin took his first Barrel and Pony ride. He was fine when the horse was walking but the minute the horse would stop he would get freaked out. He refused to pet the horse. In his words, "Horse is Icky".
Channing is working on his first Fall project for school. He chose to create a pumpkin! We started it last night by painting some beans orange. He LOVES arts/crafts. Olivia is doing very well in school! She has been getting 100% on her math and spelling! They also have a journal that they bring home every Friday and she is showing that she's quite the artist as well! Very creative. Every night I have her read me a book! I'm so proud of her!
Gavin is going through terrible 2s right now. The other day he kicked Olivia in the ear and now the back piece of her earing is bent so I have to take her in to get it fixed. He's been very aggressive lately and I'm not sure what it's stemming from. A friend mentioned the fact that he's left behind when the kids go to school. Whatever it may be we are working on it. He's still a loveable as ever though on the flipside!
Olivia and Channing had their Dentist appt yesterday. NO Cavities! Yay! When they go back in 6 months, Gavin will join them for his first ever cleaning!
