This weekend was a great weekend!!!! I was able to attend Career Conference in Chicago, IL!!!! It was an amazing experience and I was able to create unforgettable memories with Women who have become some of my best friends!! :)
I was very nervous about leaving the kids overnight. It was Mike's second time to watch them overnight. Gavin had a fever the night before and I know it's because he's been teething. It made it very difficult for me to leave, but I knew the kids would be fine!!
I drove and 3 friends rode with me. We made the best road trip and had TONS of fun along the way! When we arrived in Chicago, (took only a few hours) We headed to the conference center and had a class from 7:30-10:30 pm. Then the girlie's and I headed back to the hotel and put our Jammie's on for a slumber party! We all got together and talked and laughed and ate lots of yummy junk! lol! I needed this break! It was a great experience!!!!!!! I will always remember this. I'm starting to open up and realize that I need to get out more and be around other people. I felt AWESOME dressing up and feeling like a woman!! Saturday was spent in conference, but it wasn't a normal, boring conference. It was full of life and spirit and dancing and prayer and it was AMAZING. MIND BLOWING! I'm blessed!! Truly. This was my calling and where I need to be at the right time in my life. :)
